The three founding principles of YUKI Precision: “Challenge and evolution”
Message from YUKI Precision President Jun Nagamatsu to the younger generation of engineers: “What will be your next challenge?”
***
At YUKI Precision, we rely on three founding principles. One of them is “challenge and evolution”.
Today, I would like to dwell on this idea of “challenge”.
The word “challenge” can easily be translated as defy, and that’s fine with me. Whether it’s a company that is questioning itself or its members embarking on new adventures, continuing to dare is essential. There is a form of freshness in this attitude, and above all, a promise for the future.
But let’s go a little further. I often wonder what the word “challenge” really means. For example: “We have launched an entirely new initiative, which did not exist until now.” It’s definitely a form of challenge. Setting something new in motion takes energy. But this is only a starting point, not the challenge itself.
The true meaning of challenge is revealed in what comes after. It is in daily perseverance, in repeated efforts, sometimes invisible, sometimes without recognition, that a real challenge is built. Believe in yourself, continue to the end, and go to the end of what you have promised yourself to accomplish: it is only then that you can say that you have really taken up a challenge.
At YUKI Precision, we believe deeply – and I am the first – in the value of these efforts and perseverance and we strive to support them with all our strength.
